Neon Rain — Cyberpunk Cinematic

Neon Rain — Cyberpunk Cinematic cover

Rain-slick neon, volumetric haze and anamorphic flare — a cinematic night-city grade that survives heavy colour work.

Neon Rain is a style adapter for stylised night exteriors: wet asphalt catching pink-and-cyan signage, volumetric fog rolling through the frame, and long anamorphic streaks off every point light. Built for establishing shots and music-video inserts where mood matters more than literal accuracy, it holds character identity even under aggressive grades.

This is a LoRA adapter, not a standalone model. Load it on top of a compatible wan 2.2 base checkpoint — it will not generate on its own.

Uses

Direct use. Stylised establishing shots, night exteriors, and moody character close-ups where you want a Blade-Runner-adjacent palette without hand-grading every frame.

Out of scope. Photoreal daylight product photography, clean corporate imagery, or anything that needs neutral white balance — the model pulls hard toward magenta/cyan and will fight you.

How to use

Load the adapter over your wan 2.2 checkpoint, then trigger with: neon rain, nrn_style

neon rain, nrn_style, lone figure under a broken streetlight, wet asphalt reflections, anamorphic flare, volumetric haze, shallow depth of field

Recommended LoRA weight 0.85. Below 0.6 the grade washes out and reads like ordinary night photography; above 1.0 the highlights posterise and neon bleeds into skin tones.

  • Works well for — night exteriors and rain scenes; music-video and title-card inserts; cyberpunk character portraits.
  • Not suitable for — daylight or product shots; neutral-tone documentary work.

Training details

180 licensed stills and 40 owned clips, all rights cleared. No scraped imagery and no third-party likeness. Source frames were shot on anamorphic glass so the flare characteristics are baked into the captions.

Procedure. Trained as a low-rank adapter over wan 2.2 at rank 64, fp16, batch size 4, cosine LR with a short warmup. Captions were written by hand so the trigger words map cleanly onto the intended look.

Bias, risks and limitations

  • Skin tones drift cyan under strong signage — lower weight or add a warm key light in the prompt.
  • Text and signage render as neon-shaped gibberish; treat any lettering as decorative.
  • Trained almost entirely on night scenes, so daylight prompts collapse to an overcast, desaturated look.

License & provenance

Trained on rights-cleared stills and owned footage. Purchasing the commercial offer ($129.00) grants a commercial redistribution license for outputs; the personal offer ($19.00) is for non-commercial use. The adapter weights may not be resold or re-uploaded.
