Gilded — Classical Oil Painting Checkpoint
A classical oil-painting checkpoint — visible brushwork, glazed depth and old-master light, standalone.
Gilded is a complete checkpoint for classical oil painting: directional brushwork that follows form, glazed luminous shadows, chiaroscuro lighting and the warm varnished palette of the old masters. Output reads as a painting with real facture, not a photo with a filter.
This is a complete, standalone checkpoint. Unlike a LoRA, it needs no separate base model — load it directly as your base and generate.

Uses
Direct use. Classical-style portraits and still lifes, book and album art, and fine-art concept work wanting genuine painterly facture.
Out of scope. Photoreal or flat-graphic work — Gilded renders everything as oil-on-canvas with visible brush texture.

A slightly higher step count keeps the glazed shadow transitions smooth. Ask for "visible brushwork" explicitly — it's the difference between a painting and a smooth render.

Training details
A full fine-tune over public-domain old-master paintings plus new oil studies photographed by the creator, colour-managed to a warm varnished reference.
Procedure. A full fine-tune of wan 2.1 (not an adapter), fp16, multi-stage: a broad concept pass followed by an aesthetic refinement pass on a hand-scored subset. VAE was fine-tuned and baked into the checkpoint.
Bias, risks and limitations
- Very large checkpoint (~5.5 GB).
- Anatomy follows painterly convention over strict realism.
- Very fine text or insignia render as painted suggestion, not legible type.
License & provenance
A full fine-tune on public-domain paintings and the creator's own oil studies. Purchasing the commercial offer ($279.00) grants a commercial redistribution license for outputs; the personal offer ($55.00) is for non-commercial use. The checkpoint may not be resold or re-uploaded, and merges must credit this model.
