Verdant — Landscape & Nature Checkpoint
A landscape & nature base checkpoint — believable terrain, atmosphere and natural light across seasons.
Verdant is a complete checkpoint for the outdoors: mountains, forests, coastlines and skies with convincing atmospheric depth, plausible geology and season-aware foliage. It handles the hard parts of landscape — haze falloff, water, and a horizon that actually recedes — without a stack of LoRAs.
This is a complete, standalone checkpoint. Unlike a LoRA, it needs no separate base model — load it directly as your base and generate.

Uses
Direct use. Landscape and nature imagery, establishing shots, travel and editorial backdrops, and matte-painting starting points.
Out of scope. Character-centric or interior work — Verdant is tuned for scenery and treats people as small, low-detail scale elements.

Wide 1344×768 suits vistas best. Atmospheric haze is part of the model's depth cue — don't prompt it away or the scene flattens.

Training details
A full fine-tune over ~85k licensed and owned landscape photographs spanning seasons and biomes, geo-diverse and captioned for terrain type, time of day and weather.
Procedure. A full fine-tune of wan 2.2 (not an adapter), fp16, multi-stage: a broad concept pass followed by an aesthetic refinement pass on a hand-scored subset. VAE was fine-tuned and baked into the checkpoint.
Bias, risks and limitations
- Very large checkpoint (~6.0 GB).
- People and animals placed for scale are low-detail.
- Can over-apply haze on scenes that should be crisp — lower the haze wording.
License & provenance
A full fine-tune on licensed and owned landscape photography. Purchasing the commercial offer ($249.00) grants a commercial redistribution license for outputs; the personal offer ($49.00) is for non-commercial use. The checkpoint may not be resold or re-uploaded, and merges must credit this model.
