About this model
Mecha Forge — Hard-Surface Sci-Fi Checkpoint
A hard-surface sci-fi checkpoint — panelled mechs, greebled hulls and clean industrial light, standalone.
Mecha Forge is a full checkpoint for hard-surface sci-fi: believable panel lines and greebling, mechanical joints that read as load-bearing, weathered metal and the cool industrial lighting of a hangar. Built for mechs, vehicles and machinery that look engineered rather than melted.
This is a complete, standalone checkpoint. Unlike a LoRA, it needs no separate base model — load it directly as your base and generate.

Uses
Direct use. Mecha, vehicle and hard-surface concept design, sci-fi key art, and industrial-machine illustration.
Out of scope. Organic or soft subjects and photoreal humans — Mecha Forge is tuned for panelled hard surfaces.
Recommended settings
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|

| CFG scale | 5–7 |
| Resolution | 1024×1024 or 1216×832 |
hard surface mecha in a hangar, clean panel lines, greebled armour, hydraulic joints, weathered metal, cool industrial lighting, concept art
Name the light source ("hangar", "rim light") — hard surfaces read best with defined key and rim. A hi-res pass sharpens panel detail.
- Strengths — mechs and hard-surface vehicles; believable mechanical joints and greebling; industrial sci-fi lighting.
- Weaknesses — organic or soft subjects; photoreal human faces.

Training details
A full fine-tune over a licensed library of hard-surface concept art and model-kit photography, captioned for mechanical part, material and wear.
Procedure. A full fine-tune of wan 2.2 (not an adapter), fp16, multi-stage: a broad concept pass followed by an aesthetic refinement pass on a hand-scored subset. VAE was fine-tuned and baked into the checkpoint.
Bias, risks and limitations
- Very large checkpoint (~6.8 GB).
- Complex mechanisms look plausible but are not engineered — concept only.
- Human pilots rendered alongside come out stylised.
License & provenance
A full fine-tune on licensed hard-surface concept art and kit photography. Purchasing the commercial offer ($349.00) grants a commercial redistribution license for outputs; the personal offer ($69.00) is for non-commercial use. The checkpoint may not be resold or re-uploaded, and merges must credit this model.
