浮世絵 Poster Pipeline 🖨️

浮世絵 Poster Pipeline 🖨️ cover

Turn any photo or render into a print-ready ukiyo-e poster — woodblock stylise, borders and title block.

浮世絵 Poster Pipeline restyles an input image into a woodblock print and lays it out as a finished poster: flat-colour ukiyo-e stylisation, a traditional bordered frame, a cartouche title block, and export at print resolution and bleed. It pairs naturally with the Ukiyo-e Woodblock LoRA but works with any base that can hold the style.

This is a workflow, not weights. You get a ComfyUI graph (workflow.json) you import into your own tool. You supply the base models it calls — the value here is the wiring and the dialled-in parameters.

What it does

Stylises your input via an img2img pass conditioned on edges (so composition survives), applies a paper-grain and bokashi-gradient finish, then composites the result into a poster template with border, cartouche and margin at A2 print resolution. Title text is a fillable node — set your own kanji or Latin title.

Required custom nodes

  • comfyui_controlnet_aux
  • ComfyUI-Custom-Scripts
  • was-node-suite-comfyui

Base models you must supply

  • An SDXL checkpoint (the Ukiyo-e Woodblock LoRA on top is recommended)
  • A Canny or lineart ControlNet for SDXL
  • An SDXL VAE if not baked into your checkpoint

Inputs & outputs

Inputsone photo or render; poster title text; border style

How to run

  1. Import workflow.json into ComfyUI.
  2. Install the ControlNet-aux, Custom-Scripts and WAS node packs.
  3. Load your checkpoint (+ Ukiyo-e LoRA), ControlNet and VAE.

Limitations

  • Title text is rendered as an image layer — check kanji glyphs render correctly in your font node.
  • Heavy detail in the source can fight the flat-colour style; simplify busy inputs first.
  • A2 print export is memory-heavy — lower the template resolution on constrained GPUs.

License & provenance

Authored and tuned by the creator; ships as a plain workflow JSON. Purchasing the commercial offer ($149.00) grants a commercial redistribution license for outputs; the personal offer ($39.00) is for non-commercial use. The workflow graph may be used in your own projects but not resold or repackaged as a product.
